We’re delighted to advise our ICT sector clients and partners that CHIP DAWSON
has joined us as an Associate.
Chip has been responsible for developing strategies and directions in a number of multi-national organisations in management, sales, marketing, and product direction with companies such as Aeroquip Corporation (Eaton US), Apple Computer Corporation (US and NZ), Telecom NZ, Hitachi Data Systems, Digital Equipment Corporation, Clear Communications, Eagle Technologies Group, EMS-Global, Employee Manufacturers Association (EMA), Gen-i, City Design/ Auckland City Council, EmbeddedFusion Ltd., Shop NZ, NZTC, Ecelearn, etc.
Prior to coming to New Zealand in 1989, Chip spent five years with Apple Computer Corporation USA, responsible for a team that managed large corporates and established a distribution model for Apple Computer in California. Chip is an American, and is a permanent resident of New Zealand.
He has been the President and Chairman of the NZ Software Association; Co-Chairman of ICT New Zealand; Board member to Accelerating Auckland; President and Chairman of Mecca Group; Executive Director for EmbeddedFusion, Director of AintoG, Director of IP Markets, a Board Advisor for Watchdog Corporation, CEO of Flow Software, Acting CEO of Spider Tracks Limited, Director of Voola Software, and Judge for the Westpac Business Awards for Auckland North, West, Indian Business Awards, and NZ Speakers Association. Chip continues to work with leading companies on growing their businesses internationally.
